30 Incredibly Fun Drinking Games You've Never Heard Of
https://www.buzzfeed.com/mallorymcinnis/get-drunk

Beer pong isn't the only drinking game you can play at a party. Past a certain age, it starts to get a little played out. But that's no reason to drop drinking games altogether. They're a great way to inject some levity and competitive spirit to any gathering.
No offense to beer pong. There will always be a time and place for her, just not every time and place.
For those of you out there looking to bring a different (but still very #lit) vibe to your next social gathering, here's a list of fun drinking games perfect for any occasion. There's probably a few here you've never even heard of!
Most of these games can be played just as well with water or any non-alcoholic beverage, but here's a list of great non-drinking party games just in case.

1. Minesweeper
"Get 16 identical shot glasses and fill 8 with cheap vodka and 8 with water. Arrange them randomly in a square and take turns choosing and shooting. The best way to ruin a good night."

2. Rage Cage (also called Stack Cup)
"Beer pong but with loads of cups, no teams, and a sh*t mix in the middle.
Rules:
An entire pack of plastic cups is laid out, each cup is filled with an amount of beer. The middle cup is filled with everyone's stuff, creating a sh*t mix. There should be space around the entire table for everyone to gather around.
To start the game, two players at opposite ends of the circle around the cups take a cup each, down the contents, and try to bounce a ping pong ball off the table and into their cup. They keep going until they manage it.
Once you have bounced your ball into your cup, you move the cup clockwise around the ring for the next player to do the same.
If one of the cups catches up to the other, meaning a player has two cups, they pass their original cup on, take another cup from the middle, down the contents, stack the new cup on top of the cup they still have, and continue to try and bounce their ball in.
If you bounce the ball into your cup on the first attempt, you get to give your cup to any player in the circle, meaning you can give it to the person behind the other cup in an attempt to speed up the drinking.
The loser is the one who has to drink the middle cup.
Balls that land in a cup not yet in play result in that cup being downed by the offender and added to the stack regardless of where the second cup is in the circle."
3. The Pizza Box Game
"You start with a pizza box or broken down beer case, and every player writes his/her name on the cardboard and draws a circle around it.
The starting player tosses a quarter onto the box. If it lands on somebody's name, that person has to drink and it becomes the next player's turn.
If the quarter lands on a blank spot, the player writes a rule in that location and draws a circle around it — making [the circle] as big or small as desired. If someone lands their quarter in a rule circle they have to do [whatever that rule states].
Each person gets one quarter flip per turn, and then you continue to the next person. You keep going until the box is filled with rules. The rules usually continue to get more and more creative, anywhere from 'shotgun a beer' to 'call another player's mom'."
4. Buzz
Probably the easiest game on this list, Buzz just has one rule: don't say the number 7 or any of its multiples (14, 21, 28, 35, and so on). To play, you go around the room with each person saying consecutive numbers out loud but skipping 7, 14, 21, etc. If anyone messes up and says any of those numbers, everyone has to shout, "Buzz!" Anyone who doesn't shout has to drink with the person who messed up. It's only one rule, but it gets harder to remember the tipsier you get.

5. Where's The Water?
Set up lots of identical cups and fill them with either a clear alcohol (tequila, vodka, white rum, gin, etc.) or water. The first person takes picks a random cup, takes a sip, and tries to convince everyone in the group that it's water regardless of what's actually inside. The trick is to keep a straight face even when you sip the alcohol. The group guesses whether or not the cup is filled with water. If they're right, the first person drinks. If they're wrong, everyone else drinks.

6. Sixes
You'll need a dice for this one, and six drinking vessels of ascending size order — the smallest can be a shot glass and the largest can be a small bowl, for instance. Each cup will have a different drink (definitely use a mixer for the bigger containers), and then you take turns rolling the dice and drinking whichever number it lands on.

7. Truth Or Drink
Pretty much like truth or dare, expect when someone doesn't want to honestly answer the question they were asked, they drink.

8. Roxanne
Put on "Roxanne" by The Police, and drink every time you hear the word "Roxanne." Simple enough, and you can do it with a lot songs. "WAP" by Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion is a good option too.
9. Game of Thrones
Now this game is the one Tyrion Lannister plays with Shae and Bronn during the first season of Game of Thrones. Here are the rules: everyone sits in a circle, and one person makes an assumption about another person in the game. For example, you might say, "Kacey, I think you grew up with a lot of siblings." If you are right in your assumption, then the person you're talking about has to take a drink. If you're wrong, you have to take a drink.
10. I Drink And I Know Things
Yes, it sounds like that Tyrion Lannister quote from Game of Thrones, but this game actually has nothing to do with the show. It's a trivia game that starts when one person says "I drink and I know," followed by a piece of trivia they know. For example, you might say "I drink and I know the square root of 81." Then everybody blurts out the answer, and if someone in the group doesn't know the answer they have to drink. The person who answered first makes the next statement. If nobody in the group knows the answer, then the asker says it and makes another statement about something they know.
11. Most Likely
Everyone sits in a circle and one player asks a "most likely" question, like "Who would be most likely to accost Channing Tatum in public?" or "Who would be most likely to eat someone else's sandwich from the refrigerator at work?"
On the count of three, everyone points to whoever they think would be most likely to do whatever act was mentioned. You have to take a drink for every person who's pointing at you (so if seven people think you'd accost Channing Tatum, you have to take seven drinks).

12. Put on any movie or show and look up a list of drinking game rules online.
This is kind of a broad one, but it's similar to the Disney Princess game and a recipe for laughs and fun. Basically, put on the show or money of your choice, and then look up a drinking game for it. We've even done the work for you.
13. Disney Princess Drinking Game
Gather around ye olde computer screen with your friends and pull up your fave Disney movie. Now, it's time for drinking... Take a sip every time a princess talks to animals. Take a gulp if a princess’s parent is killed off before or within the first five minutes of the movie. And chug every time the princess encounters a beautiful or eventually beautiful prince. Get all of the rules here.
14. Straight Face
All players write sentences on small pieces of paper. What kind of sentences? Ones that are ridiculous or inappropriate; ones that anyone would struggle to read (or hear) while keeping a straight face.
One at a time, each player will choose a slip of paper and attempt to read whatever is written on it without giggling or cracking a smile. If they fail, they have to drink.

15. Drunken Artists
In this version of Pictionary, being bad at drawing will get you drunk.
Players take turns being the timer and being the artist. At the beginning of each round, the timer will whisper a word to the artist and start the clock. As the artist draws the word on a large pad of paper, the rest of the players shout out what they think the picture is supposed to be.
After someone guesses correctly, the timer looks at how many seconds have passed. The artist has to take a drink for every 20 seconds that went by before someone figured out what they were drawing. For example: If 1 minute and 40 seconds elapsed, they'd have to take five gulps of their drink.
If the artwork is so indiscernible that the group just gives up trying to guess, the artist has to take a shot.
16. I'm Going to the Bar
Did you ever play the game I'm Going on a Picnic? This is like that...only with drinks. The first person begins by saying, "I'm going to the bar and I need to get a mojito" (or any other alcoholic beverage). After that, the ensuing players repeat the drink that the previous players said... but add another drink to the list as well.

Here's an example of what you'd have to say a few rounds in: "I'm going to the bar and I need to get a mojito, a tequila shot, a gin and tonic, and a hot toddy." You keep going and going until someone messes up; whoever messes up first takes a shot.

17. Sip Sip Shot
An adult version of Duck Duck Goose. Everyone sits in a circle and one player goes around bopping people on the head, telling them to "sip." Each bopped person takes a sip of their drink until the bopper choses someone to say "shot" to. The shot person has to leap up, chase the bopper around the circle, and try to tag them. If they succeed, they take over as bopper; if they do *not* succeed, they have to take a shot.
18. True or False Storytime
Everyone writes down various nouns on pieces of paper. When it's your turn, you select a piece, and roll the dice (not letting anyone see what number you rolled).
If you roll an even number, you need to tell a true story from your life involving whatever was written on the piece of paper. If you roll an odd number, you make a story up.
For example: If the piece of paper said "mosquito" and you rolled a two, you could tell that story about the time a mosquito bit you on your nipple while you were camping; if you rolled a three, you'd make up a story about a mosquito flying up your nose while you were making out with your high school boyfriend.
Everyone listens to your story and guesses if it's true or false. If they're wrong, *they* drink; if they're right, *you* drink (one gulp for every person who guesses correctly).

19. Attached at the Hip
This game will bring you closer together — literally. Elbows, ears, butts, pinkie fingers: Write body parts on slips of paper and place them in a pile. All the players break up into pairs and each duo is assigned a body part. Everyone must stay "attached" to their partner by that body part for as long as they can; every time someone separates, they have to take a shot.
20. Concoctions
Here's a game for people with strong stomachs. Get some dice and have everyone head to the kitchen. One at a time, players roll the die. If you roll a four, the other players will put together a little "treat" for you made up of four items: for instance, a Dorito chip topped with a bit of mustard, some onion dip, and an M&M. Will you eat it? If you do, *they* have to drink. If you won't, *you* have to drink. Bon appétit!

21. Medusa
Everyone sits around a circular table covered with a ton of full shot glasses (or jello shots). Players begin the game with their heads down on the table. On the count of three, everyone looks up and stares at another player. If you find yourself looking at someone who isn't looking at you, you're safe. If you find yourself looking directly into someone else's eyes, you shout out "Medusa!" and take a shot. Keep going until all the shots are gone.

22. Cup Swap
Each player needs two cups (one that's full of some sort of alcoholic beverage and one that's empty) and a spoon. Participants have one minute to transfer as much of their drink as possible from one cup to the other using the spoon. When the minute is up, you have to drink whatever's left in the original cup.

23. Bullshit
This game is basically the same as the card game, but with a little twist. The objective is still to get rid of your cards by lying. Each person is dealt a stack of cards, and the person to the left of the dealer starts the game by placing all of their Aces face down in the middle of the circle. If they only have one Ace but want to get rid of more cards, they can lie and say they have two or more Aces. You have to put at least one card down when it's your turn, so if you have zero Aces, you have to lie. Each person has to verbally say what they are playing each turn (ex: "Two Aces," or "Three twos"), and any of the other players can call bullshit if they think that person is lying.
When someone calls bullshit, the cards are turned over and someone has to drink depending on what the cards are. If the person who played the cards was lying, they have to take a drink and add the cards to their deck. If the person calling bullshit turns out to be wrong, then they have to take a drink and the cards.
The next person would play their Kings, and so on until you reach the twos. Then you'd start playing your Aces again. Each player is required to play at least one card on their turn, but the other players don't need to call bullshit every time, so the pile of cards could potentially get quite large.
The game continues until someone gets rid of all their cards and wins, and forcing everyone else to finish their drinks.

24. Drink While You Think
The first person names a celebrity (Emma Watson, for example). The person to their left names a celebrity whose name begins with the letter of that celebrity's last name (Watson → Walt Disney). You must drink while you think of a name.
25. Paranoia
The person on your right whispers you a question, the answer of which has to be somebody playing the game (e.g. "who is the hottest in this room?"). You respond out loud, and if someone wants to know what the question was, they have to drink.

26. Let's Go Camping
Someone picks a place to go hypothetically camping (a basketball court, for example), but keeps it secret. Players suggest things to bring and the winner is the person who correctly guesses where they're camping. So, "a tent" is wrong, because there are no tents in basketball courts. But "sneakers" or "water bottle" would be right. If you guess wrong, you take a drink. If you win, you choose the next destination.
27. Titanic
Grab a glass, fill it with beer, and place it in the middle of a table. Then place an empty shot glass in the glass so that it floats on the beer. Each player then pours a little bit of their booze of choice into the shot glass. The person that causes it to sink has to drink the whole thing.

28. Flip It or Sip It
Flip a coin and guess if it will land heads or tails. If you're wrong, sip your drink and pass the coin to the left. If you're right, you can pass the coin to the right.
29. Cheers to the Governor
Everyone sit in a circle with their drink of choice. You go around the circle counting out loud, each saying a number until you get to 21. The player who gets to 21 can institute any rule they want. It’s a good idea to base rules around one specific number; for example, you could make a rule that one specific person has to drink on the number eight or that you have to say the word "frittata" on the number nine. You start counting from one whenever a new rule is created, and the next person to reach 21 makes a new rule of their own. However, it does not negate the prior rule. This continues until there is a long list of rules. If someone forgets one of the rules and messes up, they have to take a drink and the count will start over. Don't be afraid to get creative with the rules!

30. Pennies
Take turns trying to bounce a penny off the table into a glass. If you miss, you drink. If you get three pennies in a row, you get to make up a new rule.
